The long awaited, long finished and long postponed third release from seminal three-piece, The Crippled Beggars. Finally separating from story which carried the first two albums in a diptych, 3 sees the band explore the drone and noise elements of their sound and channel it into an album of climax and excess, within the reaches of the four walls surrounding them. Recorded in one day during the long summer following the end of mandatory schooling, 3 goes where no album before it went: in attempting to create sound, it questions what sound is itself. No longer are they recounting the stories of the Crippled Beggar: instead they have become his thoughts, and embodied his universe, blossoming from the cocoon of one's mind into the embryo of creation as sound.
